Ethos Pathos Logos 2012: Abstract submission and registration

Abstract submission

Please email the completed form (download) to: conference.upg@gmail.com

Abstract proposals should be written in the language of the presentation and be up to 300 words long. Please include a short indicative bibliography of up to five titles. Individual papers will be allotted 30 minutes (20 minutes – presentation, 10 minutes – discussion time), while panels should last no longer than 90 minutes per session.

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the scientific committee of the conference.

Registration fees

80 EUR (early bird fee – to be received by 15 July 2012)

100 EUR (late fee – to be received by 29 July 2012)

40 EUR (PhD candidates, unemployed, retired teaching staff – to be received by 29 July 2012)

Conference registration includes: conference pack, coffee break refreshments, welcome drinks reception. Please be advised that you need to certify your declared status when paying the registration fee(s).

Payment methods

Payment may be made in Euro (EUR) or Lei (RON). Payments in Lei (RON) will be made on the basis of the exchange rate established by the National Bank of Romania (www.bnr.ro).

Be advised that this payment method entails bank fees, and we cannot be held responsible for any bank charges you may incur (nor “slippage” due to exchange rate changes). Where there is a small difference between the amount that arrives on the account and the amount due, we will sort that out when you come to Ploieşti.

Cancellations and refunds

Registration fees can be refunded, less an administration and processing fee of 10 €, if cancellation is received in writing no later than 29 July 2012. After that date, registration fee is non-refundable.
